Stanley Kotowski

As of Wednesday, August 21, at 12:50 PM, the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office is still looking for Stanley Kotowski, a 60-year-old Methuen father who has been missing for more than four days. His last known location, according to family members, was 226 South Sea Pines Drive on Friday, August 16, around 10:30 a.m.

When last spotted, he was sporting a dark-colored Coors Light t-shirt (maybe gray), dark-colored shorts (perhaps black or dark blue), and no shoes. Kotowski didn’t bring his wallet or phone, among other personal belongings.

He weights about 200 pounds and is about six feet tall. He has dark eyes and short brown hair.

The hunt for Kotowski has been ongoing by the Sheriff’s Office since he was reported missing. In addition to Sea Pines Security and other agencies, the BCSO has been searching for Kotowski using a variety of resources, including as K9s, drones, boats, and foot patrol.

In the southern Beaufort County areas, there is an increased presence of law enforcement and the fire department, conducting searches through residential and woodland areas.

Stan’s spouse, Jackie Velliquette, has expressed gratitude to friends and family on social media for their “love, prayers, and good vibes,” and she believes the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office “is doing everything in their power to bring Stan home.”

As of right now, no fresh leads have been able to find Kotowski. He was added to national databases, and state-wide authorities have received information about him.

More details will be released soon, so be sure to like, share, and sign up for the tour email.
