What Happened To Amir Ellis: The press statement states that the Garland County Sheriff’s Office was called in relation to potential human remains that were discovered close to Blackmon Road off of Hwy 7 North. According to the announcement, after being notified of the incident, the County Coroner gave the remains to the State Crime Lab so that their DNA could be positively matched.

Thus, the bones discovered near Jessieville, Arkansas on December 16, 2023 are those of Amir Ellis, a 19-year-old resident of Hot Springs. The Garland County Sheriff’s Office Sheriff, Mike McCormick, received confirmation of this information on Thursday, December 28 from the Arkansas State Crime Lab.

On May 16, 2023, Amir Ellis was last seen. Please remember to pray for his mother, Jessica Ellis, and the entire family.
