The Toronto police have identified the three victims of the triple shooting inside an office building in the North York neighbourhood of Toronto as Arash Missaghi, 54, of Toronto, and Samira Yousefi, 44, of Concord. According to authorities, the third dead is a 46-year-old male who is thought to have carried out the shooting.

What Happened

Gunfire broke out in the building lobby near Don Mills and Mallard roads, south of York Mills Road, on Monday, just after 3:30 p.m., according to the police.

At this point, it is unknown what caused the shooting.

Shortly after the police arrived, the body of the suspected gunman was discovered at the building, along with the bodies of an identifying man and woman.

“Arash was charged in 2018 but never convicted of defrauding investors of as much as $17 million in an alleged scheme that targeted luxury homes in the Bridle Path.”

His list of alleged mortgage and title fraud appears to be extensive, and it includes the Project Bridle Path mortgage fraud inquiry.
