On Wednesday, September 11, 2024, there was an update on Asha Degree, the missing child from Shelby, North Carolina. The story surfaced when Cleveland County investigators found a car that looked similar to the one being searched for during Asha Degree’s 24 year disappearance.
There is evidence suggesting the discovery of Asha Degree remains, but it has not yet been verified. There are reportedly currently five identified grave at the scene where the car was descovered.
The car was discoveered on Tuesday, September 10, by law enforcement after arriving at a property off of Cherryville Highway where a search warrant is carried out.
The hunt is still growing strong. There is currently more fresh information coming out, Asha’s family can only hope that this is the start of answers in Asha Degree’s case.
The FBI, SBI, and CCSD have all been on the property ever since then looking for more details.
