Asha Weir Pepperdine: According to police, four Pepperdine University students were slain on Tuesday night while strolling along the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu by an uncontrollably angry BMW driver.
Around 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, on a notoriously dangerous stretch of the famous highway, a 22-year-old driver named by authorities as Fraser Michael Bohm lost control of his BMW, striking the four women, all of whom were seniors, fatally.
On Wednesday, October 18, 2023, school administrators named the pupils as Niamh Rolston, Peyton Stewart, Asha Weir, and Deslyn Williams.

The devastating collision happened on Tuesday evening. Fraser Bohm, a 22-year-old male driver, has been placed under arrest for grossly negligent vehicular manslaughter.
Investigators surmise that he was traveling at a fast pace when he lost control and struck a gathering of pedestrians in the vicinity, leaving four people dead. Students from Pepperdine University have been identified as the deceased.
