Braam Shooting, 2 Men And Student Shot Dead

At approximately 4:53 p.m. Thursday Afternoon, officers confirmed to the public that two people died, two students injured in a shooting that happened in Braamfontein, South Africa. Wits University says none of its students or staff were injured in the incident that occurred.

It was subsequently confirmed by the University of Johannesburg that the victims of the shooting incident were their students, both dead and wounded.

What Happened In Braam Today

In Braam, taxi drivers were fighting and shooting at one other; as a result, a group of students who were unaware of the situation perished in the crossfire. Thus yet, no one has been taken into custody.
“Ngwana o tla Gauteng to study and they go home in a body bag bc of Crime that the SAPS refuses to do anything about!!!”

When the shooting started, the two victims were seated in their car. The youngsters were apparently hit by stray bullets while riding a bus past the location of the shooting. Despite being hurried to the hospital, the students did not survive.
