Robin Winston has established a GoFundMe page to support the search and rescue teams prepared to go from Los Angeles to Amorgos. Any funds collected will go toward paying for their trip, as well as the purchase of more drones and other common SAR equipment.

In order to aid more teams in the hunt, it will also be used for flights. The money will go toward paying for lodging, meals, and airfare for the workers who are on the ground.

Hermosa Beach resident and retired sheriff’s officer Albert Calibet has not been seen. His brother and girlfriend, who are disappointed with the lack of government assistance, have flown to Greece to join the hunt.

Until Albert returns home, friends and family are unwilling to give up.

Without a trace, anything can still occur. Thanks to some positive news, he’s thought to be alive by all.
