47-yeasr-old Christopher Tapp, a local man who spent more than 20 years behind bars for a wrongful conviction, is dead. Chris Tapp died on Sunday, November 5, from the injuries he suffered in a fatal vehicle accident. According to his family members, the incident left him with a severe injuries o his head, he fought so hard but did not make it out. He will be missed dearly, they said.
In 1998, Tapp was falsely found guilty of raping and killing Angie Dodge, an 18-year-old, in Idaho Falls. Later on, DNA evidence established his innocence. He had every right to be resentful after his release in 2017, but instead he chose compassion and forgiving. Though missed, he won’t be forgotten.
Condolence messages have been shared on various social platforms by Chris close friends in order to bring comfort to those who are mourning her departure.
The people who were fortunate enough to spend countless joyful days with Christopher will be greatly saddened by his passing. Chris’s friends and family were all horrified to hear of his passing; they had not anticipated such awful news for a young and energetic individual like Chris. His family and friends will all really miss him.
