Noelia Gomez, 18, of Clark, New Jersey, has been identified by police as the University of Delaware student who was killed by a speeding motorcycle. Following the death of Noelia, a freshman at the University of Delaware, several students have contacted FSU. Her family and friends are devastated by this dreadful news.

Eight hours before she passed away, Gomez had just begun her first semester in college. She was enrolled at the University of Delaware, studying business management and accounting, according to her LinkedIn profile.

On Thursday, August 29, 2024, the Newark, Delaware Police Department released information on her name and cause of death.

She was struck by a motorcycle that was escaping a traffic stop when she was using a crossing on Main Street close to the university, according to the Newark, Delaware Police office.

The inquiry is still on.
