Dathan Prewett Columbia TN: The news of former player Dathan Prewett’s (Class of 2012) passing has deeply devastated the Raider Baseball club. Family members have reported that Dathan passed away recently. The cause of his passing has not yet been disclosed.
Like everyone else, Dathan was a huge baseball fan. He was a leader both on and off the basketball court when he first started at EA Cox Middle School in the sixth grade.
Dathan was youthful, intelligent, creative, and endowed with a kind heart. He had it all. He was a defender of justice and an equal rights activist, and his dedication to serving others never faltered.
He leaves behind a remarkable legacy that will undoubtedly continue to motivate individuals all over the nation. His friends and relatives are unable to process his terrible death and are overcome with feelings of anger and sadness.
For everyone who knew him, he was a source of happiness. They are in complete shock at how much of a void this loss will create in their lives.
Brooklyn Prewett and Dathan Prewett’s family are in my prayers. He will be sorely missed.
