Desiree DeMornay Death

Desiree DeMornay Obituary – Passed Away: Desiree A. DeMornay, who held several titles including Miss Continental Plus, Miss Gay USofA At Large, and Miss Black Universe, is deeply mourned by the whole Miss Florida F.I. Pageantry System. Friends said that she died on Wednesday, January 24, 2024.

A mainstay of the drag scene, Desiree studied nursing at the University of South Florida and worked as a performer at BsWest Scottsdale, Stacy’s at Melrose, and Cruisin’ 7th.

“We’ve lost another staple of our community. I fell in love with @desiree_demornay when I moved to Bradenton & would drive up to Tampa to see all the divas perform at Club Chambers. She was a FIERCE dancer, captivatingly beautiful, and incredibly warm. Thinking of all of the DeMornay family in this hour of grief & sending all of my love. Fly high, Goddess.”

Love and blessings to the family and friends of Desiree A. DeMornay; she will be greatly missed.

The Tampa Pride group has learned of Desiree A. DeMornay’s demise and is very saddened by it. For many years, Desiree was a vital and enduring member of their community, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who had the pleasure of knowing and loving her.

They pay tribute to her legacy and cherish the love and beauty she bestowed onto the neighborhood.
