Missing Person, Flordan Bazile Found Dead: The state police announce that a corpse was located Tuesday afternoon, January 16, at around 9:46 a.m. close to Coggeshall St. Bridge. Following its discovery, the corpse was recognized as that of Flordan “Flo” Bazile, a sophomore at the University of Massachusetts, who had been missing since Monday, January 15. Bazile is 21 years old.
When he vanished, he was last seen in Fairhaven sporting black sneakers, a black sweater with gray lettering on it, and red Nike joggers.
Flordan attended the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth, to study business.
According to preliminary accounts, three people were reportedly looking for their buddy Flordan, who had vanished earlier that day, when police were summoned to a North Fairhaven home next to St. Mary’s Church on Monday night, January 15, around 10:30 PM. His buddies say that’s where they last saw him on his phone.
According to reports from the Fairhaven Fire & Rescue Marine Unit, searches were conducted in the regions south of the 195 Overpass and around Tin Can Island, as well as north of the bridge.
