Frances Ndlazilwana Passed Away - Funeral

Frances Ndlazilwana Funeral – Death: The iconic and pillar of South African television, Nonkosi Frances Ndlazilwana, departed peacefully on February 28, 2024, at around 8:00 p.m. She was a terrific grandmother, a beautiful mother, and a grandmother. Her age was ninety-nine.

Her grandson Mbulelo (Ndlazilwana) Katise shared the news of her dying on social media.

It is impossible to put into words how much she meant to everyone who knew her. She transformed and touched the lives of many members of her family and community, gave selflessly and loved with all of her heart, left a legacy, and left a light that will never go out.

Who Is Frances Ndlazilwana

The most well-known performance by Ndlazilwana is from the contentious 2007 SABC1 miniseries After Nine, in which she played Lydia Maema.

She has also had recurring parts in the drama series Erfsondes on SABC2 and 4Play: Sex Tips for Girls on e.tv. She also made an appearance in the Diamonds miniseries in 2009.

She starred as a guest performer in the e.tv soap opera Scandal in 2015!

Her contributions to the arts and acting profession are unmatched; over several decades, she both cultivated and developed a great deal of talent and showcased her own acting prowess in a number of movies, TV series, and advertisements.

Katise, who’s also an actor has shared how his grandmother shaped his life.
“You changed my life in so many ways and helped me at such a tender age to discover my gift of acting that I now get to share with the world many years later.”
