For both the Ceremonial Unit and the Caisson Platoon, SFC Lasher has served as a vital member and commander. For everyone who knew him, especially his family, this is a great loss. Friends are devastated to hear this terrible news.
For his years of unselfish devotion and duty to the Army, the State, the country, the ceremonial unit, and your family, thank you, SFC Lasher. He will be terribly missed.

I am so terribly numb and devastated. Last night we lost an amazing friend, riding buddy and barn buddy. It doesn’t seem real. We were just joking about me being overdressed for the cold Monday. We were always teasing and joking with each other. You were loved by so many of our riders and parents. You were always in the lessons helping, taking care of the herd or talking with parents. The barn will not be the same without your presence James Lasher! Please lift Martha Wehrle Lasher and his family up in prayer during this time of loss. Life is so unfair.
