John Lawler Massachusetts Found Dead: John Lawler, a resident of Haverhill, an Essex County, Massachusetts community, whose body was discovered in Saugus, has been identified as the person who vanished on July 14, 2023. His family and friends last heard from him when he was last spotted strolling along Route 1 in Saugus on his way to go fishing.
His body was discovered in a forested region next to the “Saugus River” on Sunday, February 18, 2024. The river is about 13 miles long and passes through the communities of Wakefield, Lynnfield, Saugus, and Lynn. The public learned of this on Tuesday, February 20.

“hey everyone it’s Joshua I’m John Lawler oldest son As you all know, my father went missing July 14, 23 And his remains were found on Sunday in Saugus ma I spent a lot of time Searching for my father in them woods, and I probably walked right by him multiple times and I still can’t believe I didn’t find him But to be honest, I know my father, and he wouldn’t want me to find him that way so he didn’t let me find him at least That’s the way I’m looking at it but I’m going to cut to the Chase now and I don’t like doing this nor am I one to ask for help But I just got home from the funeral home and I don’t know how I’m gonna pay for this financially. I wasn’t ready for this and half of me was hoping He just took off and that he needed a break from the world but that’s not the case So I’m asking for help anything to go towards his funeral Would be greatly appreciated”
