Jon Letzkus Vegas Shooting: The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Dispatch received reports of shooting in the 100 block of Harmon Avenue at around 5:55 a.m. on December 31, 2023. When patrol officers arrived, they saw damage to other nearby structures.
Surveillance video from a neighbor captured what could have been the sounds of gunshots ringing out in the normally quiet neighborhood.
There have been no reported injuries, and a gun has been found.
Detectives have determined that 45-year-old Jon Letzkus is a person of interest based on their investigation.
Just after 10:30 a.m. this morning, The Signature at MGM Grand on East Harmon began a vigorous search for him before he was brought into custody.
The probe is still ongoing. As the units start to leave the site, the nearby roads stay closed.
