Midnight Circus considered it a blessing to work with Ms. Chapman in bringing the circus to Gately Park, where she had long served as President of the Gately Park Advisory Council.

Biography
Joyce Chapman was the most zealous in her pursuit of the hood. Many people talk about service, but she truly lived it. As a result of her dedication to her God-given profession and discipline, the far southside shines brighter and becomes closer to where she’s always envisioned it could be.
She was a dedicated community volunteer, a caring mother, grandma, and friend to many. On top of that, she was an excellent cook! Her unyielding spirit, fierce attitude, and unrelenting enthusiasm drove her action on behalf of the neighborhoods on the Far South Side.
