Australian Defence Force: On Tuesday, November 14, the Blamey Barracks in Kapooka were caught with great surprise when a soldier between the age of 20 to 30 years-old tries to end his life during a training exercise at a shooting range. According to direct information from the barack on Wednesday, the soldier is currently fighting for his life. The identity of the soldier hasn’t yet been made public.

The male soldier was brought to Canberra Hospital and is currently being treated in the intensive care unit after being rushed to a nearby hospital.

None of his close pals at the baracks had anticipated this tragedy. The responsible New South Wales Police say that an investigation is in progress.

Where Is Blamey Barracks

The 1st Recruit Training Battalion of the Army Recruit Training Centre is based at Blamey Barracks, sometimes referred to as Kapooka, which is close to Wagga Wagga, Australia.

According to information presented to the Commission, junior military members and those just out of training school made up the greatest group of suicide victims.
