Sad events are currently taking place in E-town. One of the three persons who was shot outside the courthouse has died. Everyone concerned was present for a hearing on domestic violence (probably an Emergency Protective Order), the police inform the public.

A man who is wanted in relation to a shooting that occurred in a different county is currently being held by police after leading them on a chase around Christian County’s Greenville Road parking lot on Monday.

According to emergency authorities, the man left the Muhlenberg County Sheriff’s Office and stopped on Judges Chapel Road, which is off Greenville Road. There, he is being held hostage in his car and is carrying a revolver.

Three persons in Elizabethtown are said to have been shot by the man in the courthouse parking lot.

Christopher Elder has been named as the gunman by the police; according to them, he was dating the victim who lost her life in the shooting.

This was never a threat to anyone other than the parties involved.
