Luke Slabber Wyoming Obituary

Charlie Clark, Carson Muir Car Accident – Obituary: Luke Slabber, the E2021 swimming captain, was involved in a horrific vehicle accident in Colorado, USA, and died there. He was a member of the University of Wyoming swimming team. We learned of his death at 1:36 p.m. The community of Rondebosch School is terribly saddened by the untimely death of Luke Slabber, a good and gentle man.

His contagious smile welcomes everyone, bringing joy to everyone in his path. He has always jumped at the chance to assist those in need. His loss is felt by all, and his memory will always be a part of them.

Who Is Luke Slabber

Luke is a owner of two individual RBHS swimming records. He also competed with the record-breaking Canigou U19 medley team in 2021. He broke the Western Cape record, qualified for the Junior World Competition, and won multiple medals in swimming competitions at the provincial and national levels during his matric year.

The Rondebosch staff, Luke’s fellow E2021s, the families and friends of his two Wyoming swimming team teammates who also perished in the accident, and the Old Boys’ Union all send their sincere sympathies.

Not only will Luke be remembered for his amazing love, commitment, and sportsmanship in swimming, but he will also be remembered as a kind friend, particularly to the boarding home family, where his contagious grin, upbeat outlook, and unrelenting resolve left their impact on everyone they came into contact with.

Everyone who knew Luke will always hold a particular place in their hearts for him.
