New Canaan Student Death

The tragic death of Elliott Kropf, a senior in high school, Friday night has left the community of New Canaan in sadness. “Elliott was a strong student, an excellent athlete, a kind young man, and a wonderful friend, and he will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him,” stated Superintendent Bryan Luizzi in a statement issued today.

It is tough to comprehend such an unfathomable loss, but the community at New Canaan High School is providing staff, students, and families with the resources they require to get through this trying time.

Furthermore, tomorrow, Monday, September 9, New Canaan High School will run on a two-hour delay schedule. The regular timetable for all buses will operate, and classes at New Canaan High School will start at 10:00. This will provide Elliott’s friends a chance to come together in love and support and, if they’d like, talk with the committed staff and counselors.

Moreover, counselors will be on hand in the next several days. If you, your family, or anybody else you know could use their help, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with them.

Many social media platforms are flooded with condolences and prayers for Elliott’s family, as well as for everyone who knew and loved him. Let’s join forces to offer them all our prayers and best wishes as they get through this trying period.
