Nick Alincy Missing

Jensen Beach, FL: The body of 17-year-old Nick Lovensen Alincy, who vanished on Monday while swimming in the ocean, has been discovered, according to Martin County sheriff’s officials.

Early on Monday morning, Nick Lovensen Alincy and his girlfriend arrived at Sea Turtle Beach to take pictures. But after a few dives into the water, he was hauled beneath.

On Monday, November 6, Nick’s body was found about five miles south of where he was last seen in the water.

The Martin County Sheriff’s Office would like to express its gratitude to all first responder partners that made the search for Nick and his family’s closure possible. These partners include the United States Coast Guard, Jupiter Island Police, Martin County Fire Rescue, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, and all private vessel operators and citizens.

They send his family their sincere condolences.

The PSL Soccer Club held a special place in their hearts for Nick, and they feel that now is the moment for everyone to come together in honor of Nick’s memory and to offer support to his friends and family.

For tonight’s unique vigil at Swan Park, they’re inviting everyone who knew Nick to come and celebrate his life. Start time for the vigil is 8 p.m.
