At approximately 3 p.m., police were called to the 300 block of Woodside Circle S.W. On June 6, a Thursday, following reports of gunfire. One man was shot and seriously hurt, according to the police.
The victim, according to EMS, was brought to the hospital in a serious but stable state.
A clear explanation for what precipitated the shooting has not been made public. It’s impossible to say; perhaps there was a fight before shots were fired.
“I was just sitting in my house watching golf this afternoon with my window open and I’m pretty sure I heard like six or seven gunshots, said one area resident to CTV News.”
Just after 3:30 p.m., police reported that no suspects were in custody. The suspect or suspects in question are being sought after.
