The Pentagon City Mall is heavily guarded by police following reports of a potential robbery in which glass was damaged with hammers. It is unknown how many shots were fired. They also stole from a jewelry store. Eyewitnesses report that the incident took place at Fashion Centre in Arlington on Sunday, September 1, 2024.

What Happened
Three suspects used a fire extinguisher and mallets to rob a jewelry store inside the mall, which led to the entire commotion. All of the suspects were men. During the operation, they used a fire extinguisher and sledgehammers.
These individuals are still on the loose.
Although the carjacking happened close, police now believe there was no shooting and that the incident may not have anything to do with it.
