After undergoing two cancer treatments, Peter was given a non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma diagnosis. They said how much they will miss him.
You would not believe that a major league baseball team’s owner and chairman would have the time to perform the amazing amount of work that Peter performed for those who were homeless in our community. However, during his career, he has tirelessly supported a wide range of grassroots and charity organizations.
When we started out in 2017 operating out of our living rooms and cars, Peter was the driving force behind YAC. With the same intense zeal and compassion that characterized all of his humanitarian endeavors, he stood by and supported us.
The Padres will open the Home Plate Gate at Petco Park begining this afternoon Tuesday, Novmber 14, for those who wish to gather to pay their last respect. Free parking will be available at Tailgate Lot.
