Dr. John McDougall Death

Born in May 17, 1947, Dr. John McDougall, a Physician, author, nutrition expert and health advocate has died. The news was made public on Tuesday, June 25, when various Facebook users came up on their profile to share their feeling after learning of his passing.

At the age of 77, Dr. McDougall passed away quietly at home on Saturday, June 22.

The McDougall website was the first source of information for the public.

“One of our favorite WFPB doctors has passed. With a heavy heart, we share the news of Dr. John McDougall’s passing. A visionary physician and author, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, mentor and friend, Dr. McDougall died peacefully at his home on Saturday, June 22nd, at the age of 77.”

Who Is Dr John McDougall

In addition to being a fantastic physician and mentor, Dr. McDougall took into account others around him.

He had a gentle and sympathetic spirit. His contagious smile welcomes everyone, bringing joy to everyone in his path. He has always jumped at the chance to assist those in need.

He was adored by many as a brother, father, grandfather, husband, and mentor.

“One of my great teachers, Dr John McDougall, died peacefully in his sleep on Saturday. I am personally grateful to this man and his adamant commitment to speaking honestly about the importance of eating a whole food plant based diet. He leaves a great legacy and I highly recommend his programs to anyone looking to improve their health. RIP, sir, and thank you.”

His family and friends celebrate the wonderful soul he was and the innumerable lives he positively influenced during his time, but they also lament the gap his departure has left.
