The shocking news of Rock-n-Roll icon Dave Sweetapple’s passing shook the internet. According to the report, Dave passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 8, 2024.

Dave was loved by all those who knew him well, including his family, friends, and admirers. He will be much missed for his acceptance of others and his ability to connect with them.
“I’m so terribly sad to learn about Dave Sweetapple today. I haven’t seen him for a few years but I knew him back into the 90’s, he was always a real music head and incredibly hilarious. He helped realize my dream of getting Soggy out on LP stateside, he surely and completely knew his rock. And he’ll always rock. I’m so sorry for his loved ones and all our mutual pals as stunned as I am tonight by the news.”
