James Chance

James Chance,71, who was well-known as a saxophonist, singer, songwriter, and one of the pioneers of the Funk, Punk, Jazz, and No Wave movements that started in downtown New York City in the late 1970s with his innovative groups The Contortions and James White and the Blacks, has passed away following a protracted battle with health-related issues.

James, who resides in New York at the moment, has experienced serious health problems. A severe health problem forced him to halt a European tour, and he hasn’t been able to play since.

The sickness type was kept a secret.

To help James Chance, sometimes known as James White (James Siegfried), a campaign is planned.

James’ mother, Jean Siegfried, had to move into a memory care facility, and his father, Donald Siegfried, who had been supporting him financially during his health issue, passed away quite suddenly. As a result, there were not many family assets left to assist James and Judy financially.

Any money you are able to provide will go directly toward James’s living and medical costs; any remaining cash will be deposited into a retirement account for James.

Any amount you can donate will be greatly appreciated by James and the Siegfried family, who are all worried about James’s well-being and will feel less burdened as a result.
