The search for 16-year-old Abigail Kate Velez, the daughter of a local East Tennessee police officer, who went missing on Thursday night, June 6, 2024, around 9:30 p.m. near Baptist Hospital while on vacation, is still ongoing; no one has heard from her, and her friends and family are in great distress.
Notify the Sheriff’s Department if you believe you have seen her or heard of her whereabouts; prayers are ongoing that she is safe wherever she is at the moment.
She is 5’6″ and weighs approximately 130 pounds. Please share the news with your friends and family so that Abigail Velez can be found and safely returned home.
With great fear for her current situation, the family is pleading with the public to assist in the search for their daughter.
Since the last time she was seen, her family has been unable to contact her or confirm her location.
