On Thursday morning, August 20,24, 29-year-old Serbian CrossFit competitor Lazar Dukic tragically drowns in the ocean shortly before he crosses the finish line during the year’s CrossFit Games.
When Dukic’s team reported to the organizers that he had not come to the surface, a diving team set out to find him.
The event happened in Fort Worth, Texas.
Lazar is one of the most well-known athletes that has competed for Serbia in the CrossFit Games at the greatest international levels.
Lazar has grown to be a cherished part of the FITAID Family.
