Officers from the Frisco Police Department responded to a suspected shooting incident about 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday in the vicinity of the Walmart located at 8000 Brentwood Boulevard and Hickory Street. Officers discovered two individuals who had been shot. Frisco Fire medics transported both subjects to nearby hospitals.

Police report that no arrests have been made. An eyewitness claimed that Frisco has changed from what it once was.

There is a significant police presence in the area as the DPS and the Frisco Police Department have established a perimeter in an attempt to apprehend the gunman. The gunman was last saw moving toward the Hickory apartment building across from Walmart.

Air support was among the several resources that came forward to offer support. There have not yet been any arrests made. Officers on the site are under the impression that there is no public threat and that this is an isolated incident based on the facts at their disposal.
