Memphis Walmart Shooting

Whittier was shaken by a brutal shooting early on Sunday morning, February 11, leaving two men dead and one critically injured. The event, which took place inside a travel trailer parked at an auto repair business on Lambert Road, gave the neighborhood a gloomy start to the day.

The Whittier Police Department said that they received a call just after 1:05 a.m. about gunfire at the address. First responders arrived to find three males inside the trailer with several gunshot wounds. It was a terrible picture. Two victims were declared dead at the scene despite their best efforts, and the third was critically injured and taken to a nearby hospital.

The incident does not seem to be connected to any group, according to the authorities. According to early accounts, there may have been a family connection between the fatalities, which would have added even more misery to an already tragic occurrence. It’s still unknown what, if anything, connected the fatalities to the car repair company.

The suspect or suspects in the shooting are still at large as of right now, and the police have not yet provided any descriptions. The event is the subject of a thorough investigation by the Whittier Police Department, which is requesting that anybody with information come forward.

This tragedy serves as a sobering reminder of both the transience of life and the damaging effects of violence on communities and families. Our prayers are with the victims and their loved ones during this extremely trying time, as we wait for additional information to become available.
