Irving TX School Lockdown: A Ranchview High School student showed another student a pistol that was in their backpack while they were on campus, according to information that was reported to the Irving Police Department at 3:17 p.m. A lockdown was imposed on the school right away.

Officers checked digital evidence and camera footage as soon as they got at the school, providing security for the institution.

Officers are still on the scene to ensure they take all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of the entire school campus, even though video surveillance revealed the pupil had departed the premises before the lockdown was declared.

The perpetrator was swiftly located and apprehended by the cops when the pupil was identified. The person in question is a minor, and their identity will not be made public. There were never any shots fired.

It is anticipated that the lockdown would last for at least a more hour, during which time officers will visit each classroom to physically release the students and parents.
