Emergency personnel report that three people have been shot close to the Embassy Suites at the St. Charles Convention Center. Two individuals were transported with injuries that could be fatal.
Officials have not yet provided many details. As of this writing, there is no suspicious information to be released; this is an ongoing investigation.
Witness surveillance footage appeared to show what might have been gunshots resounding through the normally quiet neighborhood.
