The St. James Catholic School in Seguin, Texas released the sad news of Chloe Belicek’s passing. Her father was the school’s graduate. Chloe, a rising senior at Seguin High School, passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2024, as a result of injuries she received in a horrific vehicle accident.
“Dear Seguin ISD Community, It is with a very heavy heart to report that yesterday, Chloe Belicek, a Seguin High School senior, succumbed to injuries from an auto accident.Chloe was a bright, engaging young lady who embodied the Matador Spirit. She was loved by her teachers, coaches, administrators and fellow students, especially her teammates on the volleyball and softball teams, and those who were her friends in FFA. She will be missed by our Matador Family. Please join me in keeping the family and friends of Chloe Belicek in your prayers.
Seguin High School counselors will be available for as long as necessary to help support our students and staff following the loss of Chloe.
We will share information on upcoming services and memorials as details become available.”
Who is Chloe Belicek
Chloe was a lovely spirit that showered everyone she came in contact with with love and kindness. On Saturday, July 27, St. James Church will remember Chloe with a moment of silence at 3:30 p.m. and a Mass in her honor at 4 p.m.
Gift cards are asked in place of flowers so the family can order food, pick it up, or buy whatever else they need during this trying time. In Seguin, gift cards can be dropped off at the church office (510 S. Camp Street) or the St. James School office (507 S. Camp Street). Donations for the Chloe Strong Memorial Fund can also be made by interested parties by stopping by First United Bank or by calling (830) 401-1100.
Chloe, a soon-to-be Seguin senior, has received a lot of praise for being a light.
Her community and family are inconsolable.
