St Matthews Mall Shooting

Following the announcement that someone had been shot, there is a noticeable Louisville Metro Police Department presence at the Mall of St. Matthews on Saturday night, July 27 at Shelbyville Road. The shot person’s condition is unknown.

According to Wilkerson, no policemen were hurt.

There are several agencies, like the Metro, Lyndon and st Matthews police cars at the scene.

“Prayers up bc it’s sad that you can’t even go out and shop bc people have mental issues and will go shoot up a mall, restaurant, movie or whatever. Family locations and wonder why we can get top designers and nice shopping stores”

What Happened At St Matthews Mall

We’re still investigating the specifics of what transpired. According to an early report from St. Matthews Police Chief Barry Wilkerson, a traffic stop was being carried out by a Louisville Metro Police Department unit. There was a self-inflicted shooting during that stop.
