He was among Dayton radio’s greatest ever. His family claims that he is only two days away from turning ninety-two. His age was ninety-one.

In the latter part of the 1960s and early 1970s, he worked as a DJ for a popular local radio station.

“Sorry to hear Steve Kirk passed away from WING. I listen to him many mornings getting ready to go to school and it’s wild jokes who remembers transistor radios and Steve Curt rest in peace 91 years old.” Pinnacle Ridge Bluegrass Band said.

The Beatles were introduced to Cincinnati Gardens in 1964 by one of the five WSAI Good Guys, Steve Kirk, who passed away at the age of 91. He worked mornings on Dayton’s WING-AM 1966–1991 after WSAI-AM.

Steve is going to be terribly missed. He gave his community so much that everyone is currently dealing with a tremendous loss that no family should ever have to go through. May Steve always remain in your thoughts and prayers during the days, weeks, and years ahead for the whole Steve family.
