Troy AL Shooting

On Thursday, May 23, around 11:56 a.m., we received word that there had been a shooting at the Z Ttec next to McDonald’s; police had been present. An eyewitness at the scene reported that up to 20 or 30 rounds were fired.

Officers discovered two women who had been shot. Both were taken to nearby hospitals where they are receiving care for non-life-threatening wounds.

In relation to this shooting, a 17-year-old male was charged with reckless endangerment and discharging a firearm within city limits. Anthony Jackson, 20, has been charged with assault in the second degree.

Regarding this shooting, no additional information was released.

Shan Bray said: “I hate to hear that. I had my door open, heard the shots and called 911.”
