Vandame Munga Shot Dead: Reports of shooting prompted police and emergency workers to rush to Draffin Court at approximately 6:16Â a.m. Witnesses to the Draffin Court Homicide are still wanted by the police.
One person died and another had life-threatening injuries in the shooting event that happened on Thursday, November 23. The matter is still being looked into by the Ottawa Police Service Homicide Unit.
Due to possibly deadly injuries, 28-year-old Vandame was transferred by Ottawa Paramedics to a neighboring hospital; a few hours later, he was declared dead.
The police are requesting that any witnesses come forward as the investigation is still ongoing.
As of yet, no one has been taken into custody. Investigators think this was a targeted incident.
