Visitation, according to his family, will take place at Third City Christian Church on Sunday, January 7, from 300 to 600 p.m. The funeral ceremony will take place at Third City Christian Church in Grand Island on Monday, January 8th, at 10:30 a.m.
Wade’s previous workplace, “Plains Irrigation,” a local Valley Dealer that has been serving Central Nebraska for more than 40 years, will be closed on Monday, January 8th in observance of Wade, so that all staff members and friends can attend his burial.
Wade spent fifteen years as a member of the Plain family. He was well-known for his upbeat, enjoyable disposition and diligent work ethic.
“Whether you met him in the field or in the office, you were greeted with a warm smile and a sincere will to help. Wade will be deeply missed by our staff, and we know that many of our customers will miss seeing him in their fields or in the office.” the Plains Irrigation said in their eulogy.
It meant to love Wade to know him. The most generous, carefree, joyful, and optimistic man you will ever meet. He will be known for being a compassionate and considerate coworker who approached his work with dignity, honesty, and a strong desire to change the world.
