William Lowery Sheridan WY Shooting

Nevada Krinkee Dead – Death: William Lowery, 46, of Sheridan has been placed under arrest for shooting at or shooting at an officer and driving away in a red 2008 Chevy pickup bearing the Wyoming license plate 3-23801. He is regarded as dangerous and armed.

The cop, later named as Nevada Krinkee, was shot and killed while performing his duties at the Holiday Gas Station in Sheridan, Wyoming.

William, the male subject, ran from the scene and was picked up shortly after, around 6th and N. Sheridan Avenue. Upon the suspect’s apprehension, the BOLO was subsequently terminated at 2:35 p.m., as per the dispatcher’s update from Sheridan Police.

After establishing a perimeter, representatives from the Wyoming Highway Patrol, Sheridan Police Department, and Sheridan County Sheriff’s Office discovered the person was trapped inside a house.

A few other nearby residents were also evacuated from the region. When Crisis Negotiators and members of the Gillette Police Department tactical squad arrived to help, a standoff happened. Right now, the scene is still in motion.

The Gillette Police Department dispatched the Special Response Team and equipment to help, according to Deputy Chief Brent Wasson.
