Zane Rupert Saxonburg PA Death: On Friday, October 13, 2023, Zane Rupert of the 12U Saxonburg Spartans lost his life in a tragic car accident, according to the Deer Lakes Youth Football on Facebook, who posted at approximately 8:23 a.m. on Saturday, October 14. According to the Deer Lakes Youth Football “Tonight’s Braves game has been cancelled.” till further notice due to the sad news that a member passed away.
Everyone at this time are sending their sincerest condolences to the Zane’s family, Saxonburg teammates, and coaches. Zane will be missed dearly.

“Tragically, Zane Rupert was killed in a car accident last night. Zane is one our 12u players and a great young man…some know him as a son, brother, and friend to name a few. He was a force on the team and was vital on our line. To say that he will be missed isn’t adequate, the impact he has had on those around him will be long felt. Our sincerest condolences to Zane’s family, his teammates, and coaches.
We will still recognize our seniors immediately after the 10U game. There will be a tribute and a moment of silence for Zane with the 12U players and any players from the other teams that want to stay. We are asking everyone to keep the Rupert family in your thoughts and prayers. We will also be donating our gate fees to the Rupert family. Once there is more information regarding services, we will pass that information along.”

As we previously stated, Zane died as a result of the serious injuries he sustained following a terrible vehicle accident. At this point, we are unsure if there were any further victims of the collision. There is currently no definitive clarification available.
