The public was informed on Friday, March 15, that popular nature photographer Carson Hughes, 18, had vanished. His last known location is Versailles State Park, an Indiana state park close to Versailles, a town in Ripley County. His pickup and kayak are still at the park, and he’s still got his camera set up on a tripod next to a pond off the main lake.

Friends and family are in a panic since no one who has heard the news knows exactly what his missing case entails. The authorities are all aware and have dispatched a large search squad to search the Versailles region in addition to conducting investigations.

Carson is a photographer and a student at Jac-Cen-Del. His work was published on the cover of “The 812” magazine in January.

Please offer prayers for his safe return along with his family and friends. The doors to Jac-Cen-Del High School are open to everyone for tonight’s prayer vigil. (Doors are open now; there is no specific time.)

Until further notice, Ripley County authorities are requesting that the public stay out of the park.

Anyone with information regarding Carson Hughes’ whereabouts should get in touch with Trey Bradshaw via Facebook Messenger or any of his family members right now.
