After shooting one man dead and wounding another, a suspect is now evading capture. The incident happened in front of the Dunkin’ Donuts in Centerville on Lee Highway at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 15, according to a press release from the Fairfax County police officer.
A drug deal that was still in progress was the cause of the fight that ended with the fatal shooting. It occurred at a moment when several gunshots were fired.
As a comprehensive investigation into the shooting is still underway, it is unclear who may have pulled the trigger first.
Police from Fairfax County are currently on the scene.
At the scene, two firearms were found.
