Flagstaff Police received a report of gunfire at around 11:15 a.m. in the vicinity of Bushmaster Park, 3150 N. Alta Vista Dr. There were no reported injuries.
The person brandishing the handgun was described by local witnesses as a thin-built, Native American man in his 20s or 30s who was dressed entirely in black and might have had tattoos on his arms.
Following up on tips, law enforcement officers are actively looking for the person who was reportedly seen fleeing from Bushmaster Park towards the north-west following the shooting.
