Ross Aikenhead Cause Of Death: Due to the passing of Winsford United’s player, 24-year-old Ross Aikenhead, a young, amazing man and a wonderful emerging football player who had recently joined the team from Wythenshawe Town FC, their upcoming game has been postponed.
The NWCFL Fans Group’s Facebook page was the first place the public learned about the news. Ross was an amazing young man off the field as well as a gifted attacker with a good eye for goal. Everyone connected to the club, supporters, and friends will sincerely miss him. Our deepest sympathies are sent to Ross’s family and close friends.
According to Wythenshawe Town Football Club “At tomorrows game there will be a minutes applause before the game in remembrance for Ross”.
Ross’s death was unexpected, and the family is currently coming to terms with the situation. Not much information is available. As soon as Ross’s family or the club provide information regarding his cause of death, we will make it public.
