Banbridge Shooting

UPDATE: Due to a shooting mishap that sent a man to the hospital, both the off-slip and the on-slip to the A1 dual carriageway at the flyover are closed. An individual was taken into custody. The incident took place in Banbridge’s Rathfriland Road neighborhood. Law enforcement is presently on the site.

After being moved, the sufferer arrived at Royal Victoria Hospital. The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service has verified it.

He reportedly took a bullet to the abdomen. His true identity has not yet been revealed. He is in his 40s, and the shooting has been connected by the PSNI to a burnt-out car on Drone Hill Road. In his 40s is also the man who was arrested.

Police are present and Drone Hill Road in Corbet has also been closed.

Due to the incident, police are currently holding two scenes in the Banbridge area.

Authorities are looking into a gunshot incident where a person was hurt and is in serious condition. There is no doubt that the shooter does not speak for everyone in Banbridge or even farther afield.
