A post on Facebook by 13ABC on Thursday night stated that there was a confirmed gunshot in Swanton on March 28. At the site, one person was declared deceased. The shooting had place at an unidentified location inside a car.
The shooting is still being looked into by Swanton police. Although specifics are still pending, authorities are requesting that vehicles avoid Main Street and Garfield Avenue.
We found out that the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation was contacted as soon as the incident occurred from a Facebook post by the Swanton Ohio Awareness Group.
The Police Chief has taken possession of the vehicle in which the victim was discovered in order to conduct an investigation.
